WOW!

The feedback we are getting for both

Holocaust Heroes: Fierce Females

and The Fluidity of Gender is incredible!

Mary Blake, Retired Headmistress, Convent of the Sacred Heart, NY

On  Holocaust Heroes: Fierce Females:

“Linda, this work needs to be seen by so many. The comment today [during your East Hampton lecture at Guild Hall Museum] made by the young  teacher, stating that her students had barely heard of the Holocaust, leaves me dumbstruck and with many questions. Sadly, it is not only the Holocaust. It  is Rwanda. Syria. The Ukraine. What next?….You are enabling a life-altering experience for kids, for adults, for families, for schools, for communities. What can follow? Sensitive, life-changing discernment. Hope.”  Read more

Paige Ferro, Staff Member, Holter Museum, MT

On The Fluidity of Gender:

“I was helping the museum curator unpack the crates holding the body suits and I could not believe how connected I felt to what this artist was saying: the continuum between masculinity and femininity, being true to your own authenticity, and the courage that art brings out in oneself. I was inspired…. and gave a reading…I didn’t realize how hard this reading would be for me, nor how liberating. This experience changed me, and I will remember it for the rest of my life. “ Read more

Lynda Sommers, Director, Alverno Art  and Cultures Gallery,  WI

On The Fluidity of Gender:

We had 952 visitors for the exhibit, including 300 community school children and over 200 Alverno students.

Deborah Brooks, Art Department Chair, Greenfield High School, WI

On The Fluidity of Gender:

“More than half of the students had never visited an art museum or gallery before. Many had a limited view of what constitutes art. This live viewing opportunity, supported by hands on self-expression changed their view on several topics as evidenced by their writing… “I never thought the Holocaust had women as heroes.”  “This helped me to see how I have been a bystander-and that being a brave upstander doesn’t have to mean I battle a bully.” I’d say this was a great success.” Read more
